Overview of Pack 121
Member of Mohegan Council
Quinsigamond District
Auburn, Massachusetts
Pack meetings are held on the second Friday of the month during
the school year. This is an opportunity for all the Cub Scout dens
to gather with their families for a pack meeting. The scouts take
turns participating in the flag ceremony, skits and presentations.
They can also display some of their handiwork. The highlight of the
meeting is the awards ceremony.
Every pack meeting follows a specific theme. Besides this theme,
our pack traditionally enjoys a Christmas celebration in December,
February is reserved for the Blue & Gold Banquet and we hold a
pinewood derby during the month of March.
Our pack is led by a Cubmaster and an Assistant Cubmaster, and
each den has one leader and at least one assistant leader. These
persons and other volunteers comprise the pack committee whose
purpose is to guide the pack and prepare for pack meetings. Parents
are encouraged to participate in any of these positions. Cub
Scouting is a family involvement endeavor, and by volunteering to
help out at a pack meeting or in another position, you reinforce
your belief in and support of your own child as well as the Boy
Scouts of America organization.
